Start by registering a new market participant. We explain the use of eHerkenning and you can then start the process.
eHerkenning is a 'digital key' that allows companies or entrepreneurs to securely log in to different organisations. It gives organisations greater certainty about the identity of companies seeking access to their systems. eHerkenning is purchased from a commercial supplier.
EDSN (processor) manages central systems on behalf of the joint network operators (processor). According to privacy legislation, the controller and processor must take technical and organisational measures to ensure that you have secure access to this data.
eHerkenning has different levels of reliability: eH1, eH2, eH2+, eH3 and eH4. The higher the reliability level, the more secure and reliable you can log in. To access the central communication systems of the Dutch energy market, you need at least eH3. Do you already have eHerkenning but of level eH1, eH2 or eH2+? Then contact your supplier to adjust your level to at least eH3.
More certainty about your online identity, which is why we use eHerkenning. With eHerkenning, you identify yourself online safely and easily. The great convenience is that eHerkenning allows you to log in at multiple organisations. So you need to remember fewer passwords. Safe, easy and reliable. For more information, go to www.eherkenning.nl.
The eHerkenning account with which you log in must be linked to the organisation performing this market role. This is the legal person to whom this licence, recognition or exemption for the market role has been granted. You can find out which organisation you need to apply to for your market role at this page under the heading 'Arrange in advance'.
